GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., September 13, 2018 – Cascade Engineering (CE) based in Grand Rapids, Michigan announced today that Christina Keller has been named President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Christina assumes the position from current President and CEO Mark Miller who is retiring at the end of September. Mark stated, “Christina has established herself as a highly respected and competent leader at CE. She has the talent and experience prerequisite of all leaders. Most importantly, she has the passion and conviction to embrace our TBL culture, encourage diversity and value trusting relationships…things that can’t be taught.”
Christina has held a number of leadership positions of increasing responsibility since joining Cascade in 2009. From 2010 - 2013 she was the business unit leader for Triple Quest, which produced and distributed the Hydraid® BioSand Water Filter. In 2013, Christina was named President of CK Technologies (CKT). CKT is the largest of nine business units that comprise the CE Family of Companies. CKT manufactures plastic exterior body components for large trucks. Parts include bumper systems, grills, chassis and roof fairings. Headquartered in Montpelier, Ohio. CKT has additional facilities in Mount Airy, North Carolina, Brownsville and Grand Prairie, Texas. CKT posted two consecutive years of record revenue under Christina’s leadership.

In 2016, Christina returned to Grand Rapids as President of the Campus Business Team (CBT). In this position Christina was responsible for strengthening the core plastics business across five diverse platforms with manufacturing operations located in six Grand Rapids facilities. Christina worked with the respective leaders for Cascade Carts, Automotive Americas, Innovative Plastic Technologies, Decade Products and Noble Polymers, to develop strategies for growth. Most recently Christina led the strategic integration of all of Cascade Engineering’s North American business units. This created an alignment through best practices and standardized work to maximize operational, financial and human resources.
Mark started with Cascade Engineering in 2006, as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CK Technologies. He was named President of CK Technologies a year later and became the President of Cascade Engineering in 2013, assuming the CEO title the following year from Fred Keller - Founder and Chair.
Regarding Mark’s retirement, Founder and Chair Fred Keller, said, “Mark has been a tremendous leader for Cascade Engineering. He directed the growth of CKT from a small business acquisition into becoming the largest of nine businesses we currently operate. His contribution to Cascade Engineering has been remarkable. “
Christina also praised Mark for his guidance, experience and mentorship in preparation for her new position leading Cascade Engineering. As President and CEO, Christina has responsibility to assure that Cascade continues its dedication to the community, accomplishes its purpose of being a Triple Bottom Line company and develops and executes Cascade’s strategic direction.
